Let’s Make Charity Fashionable Says Queensbay Mall

Penang – April 1, 2010 – Charity and fashion come together as Queensbay Mall kicks off its month-long event ‘Vogue for Virtue’ Model Search leading to the Charity Fashion Ball as the grand finale.

Throughout the month of April, shoppers at Queensbay Mall will get a chance to participate in a Pose and Win Model Search Contest. All registration fee and fund raised from this event shall be channeled to four charitable organizations namely, Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Seri Cahaya, Children’s Protection Society, Cancerlink Foundation and D’ Home Mental Health Association.

The Search for the Pose and Win Model shall be a weekly event starting from April 3 and shall rev up to a grand finale on April 24 featuring a Charity Fashion Ball where Queensbay Mall together with prominent celebrities such as Amber Chia, Elaine Daly, Hansen Lee, Steve Yap, Kelly Jagan and Stephanie Chua will be taking over the runway to showcase the latest styles of renowned local fashion designers like Key Ng, Khoon Hooi, Beatrice Looi and Nazleen Noor. Celebrity radio hosts Serena C and Roshan will be the emcee for the evening to ensure the complete success of the event.

All shoppers are invited to join in the month-long Vogue for Virtue events whether as a participant or an audience. Be sure to mark the calendar and not to miss the Charity Fashion Ball on 24 April 2010.
